Effective Comprehension
Skills, a fun-and-skills based programme, aims to equip pupils
with the necessary skills to tackle comprehension questions
effectively. To stimulate pupils’ interest in reading
comprehension, pupils will be exposed to a variety of fun
activities with the various language focus skills carefully
incorporated. Pupils’ participation is emphasized so
as to stimulate critical thinking. A programme that incorporates
cooperative learning, group discussion is also highlighted
to cultivate group work and confidence in expression of ideas
in pupils.
